Mr. Weiler co-founded KrolLDiscovery in 2005. Since its inception, KrolLDiscovery has emerged as one of the top eDiscovery vendors in the United States. KrolLDiscovery has been recognized by Socha-Gelbman, INC 5000, Deloitte 500, and has repeatedly earned kCura’s Orange-level Relativity Best in Service designation. Mr. Weiler also received Ernst & Young’s Washington, DC entrepreneur of the year award in 2014.
Prior to co-founding KrolLDiscovery, Mr. Weiler co-founded and built On-Site Sourcing into a $40 million litigation support and electronic discovery services company, named in a survey of the American Lawyer top 100 law firms as one of the top five imaging and coding services companies and one of the ten best electronic discovery firms in the United States.
Mr. Weiler graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1985 and served in the United States Navy as a surface warfare officer and as a Navy Senate Liaison Officer in Washington, D.C. from 1985 until September 1991. He also worked for Pitney Bowes Management Services as a manager from September 1991 through December 1992.
As a former 1st team Washington Post All Met Receiver, MVP of Navy’s 1984 football team, and the father to three college athletes, Mr. Weiler has devoted the majority of his free time over the past fifteen years to coaching young men in youth basketball and high school football. Since 1997, Mr. Weiler has been the head or assistant coach to AAU, county and CYO basketball teams, and two high school football teams in Northern Virginia.
Joining the Lake Braddock Secondary School Staff in 2004 as the offensive coordinator, Mr. Weiler helped engineer the greatest turnaround in Virginia, Maryland and DC history from 2004 to 2005, win five district championships, two straight Northern Region titles, and a trip to the Virginia state final in 2009. Mr. Weiler also personally donated $200k for the building of two field turf fields at the school.
Douglas S. Strahan
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining KrolLDiscovery, Mr. Strahan was CEO for Aptela, an internet telephony SaaS provider. During his tenure as CEO Mr. Strahan quickly improved the operating and financial performance of the company and successfully negotiated a sale of the business. Prior to becoming CEO for Aptela, Mr. Strahan was CFO and a key contributor in securing $13 million in venture capital and bank financing to scale the business.
Prior to joining Aptela, Mr. Strahan was CFO for INPUT, an information services & software company, where he grew the business from $2 to $23 million in five years. He was also CFO for two early stage businesses: Advocates On Call and BIA Financial Network. Prior to BIA, he was Director of Finance for a $650 million division of Blockbuster Entertainment and Controller for Bardon, Inc., a $100 million manufacturing and distribution operation. Mr. Strahan started his career at General Electric, where he graduated with honors from the company’s world class financial management training program.
Mr. Strahan holds a post-MBA Certificate in Accounting and a MBA in International Business from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y.
The former founder and CEO of Credence, now an KrolLDiscovery Company, Mr. Hall achieved a long and successful career establishing a proven track record of accelerating sales, strengthening existing client relationships, developing new markets and building a foundation for a company’s long-term growth.
Mr. Hall oversees KrolLDiscovery’s sales organization and is responsible for recruiting and coaching the sales team to support the growth of KrolLDiscovery. Mr. Hall is accountable for the creation and implementation of the company’s business development vision, and his team works with clients to develop best practices and cost saving strategies in matters involving Information Governance and eDiscovery.
Prior to founding Credence, Mr. Hall was General Manager for Corporate Services at Esquire Litigation Services. He holds a B.S. in Business, Telecommunications and Psychology from Christian Brothers University.
Mr. Zambito joined KrolLDiscovery in August of 2008 as Director of Project Management. In that role, Mr. Zambito was tasked with the growth and development of the project management group and providing consultative support to a variety of corporate and legal customers. In 2011, Mr. Zambito was promoted to his current role of Vice President of Sales. In this role, he continues to provide consultative support to clients, but is responsible for KrolLDiscovery’s sales with AMLaw100 law firms and Fortune 500 corporations.
Prior to joining KrolLDiscovery, Mr. Zambito was with ONSITE3 from 2002 – 2008 where he filled several roles, most recently as the Director of Client Services. As Director of Client Services, he assumed overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the project management group. Mr. Zambito also provided horizontal support to project managers/production staff in addition to vertical support on several key engagements; including a national program for a federal law enforcement agency.
Over the past decade, Mr. Zambito has supported a broad variety of matters, including DOJ second requests, anti-trust, criminal, SEC, FTC, and private matters.
Ms. Schurz has ten years experience providing eDiscovery Solutions to public and private companies both domestically and internationally. She joined KrolLDiscovery in February of 2008 as the Director of Web Hosting. In that role, Ms. Schurz managed KrolLDiscovery’s Chicago-based web services team while spearheading KrolLDiscovery’s training and instructional design. She continues to review workflows; create, maintain, and preserve document review databases; help clients meet demanding production requests; and consult with clients on litigation review processes. In 2011, Ms. Schurz was promoted to her current role of Vice President, and has worked with the Quality Assurance, Business Solutions, and Training teams. She shares her clients’ commitment to exceptional work product and creative solutions. Ms. Schurz is Six Sigma certified, Project Management Professional, Relativity Certified Administrator, Relativity Certified Sales Professional, Relativity Review Specialist, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT, and a Certified Training consultant.
Before joining KrolLDiscovery, Ms. Schurz was the Director of Forensics and a Communications instructor at Clemson University, where she also lead workshops for the Office of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation. Prior to her time at Clemson, she worked at the Center for Media Design at Ball State University to implement the Student Technology Incubator Program while teaching courses in Communication studies. She received a Masters degree in Organizational and Professional Development from Ball State University.
Mr. DeJohn joined KrolLDiscovery as a Director in 2011 to launch and oversee the Managed Review division. In that role, he was tasked with the management and development of the division, while also providing project management and discovery consulting for KrolLDiscovery’s premier clients. In 2013, Mr. DeJohn formed the Analytics division, a technology-driven branch of KrolLDiscovery’s renowned hosting department. In 2014, Mr. DeJohn took on the role of Vice President of KrolLDiscovery’s advanced technologies. Mr. DeJohn now focuses on the development of advanced analytic methodologies for eDiscovery and Intellectual Property applications. He also provides planning and consultation for KrolLDiscovery clients considering Analytics/TAR applications, and oversees all predictive coding projects.
Prior to joining KrolLDiscovery, Mr. DeJohn spent four years as a Director and VP at LawScribe, a Los Angeles-based LPO (acquired by UnitedLex) that provided eDiscovery and IP solutions for law firms and corporations worldwide. While at LawScribe, Mr. DeJohn was responsible for all project management, and played a major role in business development and company growth.
Mr. DeJohn holds a J.D. from DePaul University in Chicago and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri. He is licensed to practice in both California and Washington D.C., and is a registered attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. DeJohn received his Relativity Certified Administrator (“RCA”) certification from kCura in 2012, his Relativity Analytics certifications in 2013, and his Relativity Expert status in 2014. Mr. DeJohn is also a certified Equivio Technical STAR.
Vice President, Hosting Services

As Director of Hosted Services at KrolLDiscovery, Mr. Cami develops review workflows; creates, maintains, and preserves document review databases; and meets demanding production requests, while also managing the Chicago-based web services team. Mr. Cami has extensive knowledge of most online review platforms, kCura’s Relativity database schema, Concordance, iConectNXT/Xera, Equivio Zoom and a variety of other areas. Prior to joining KrolLDiscovery, Mr. Cami was a Senior Database Administrator and Data Analyst at ONSITE3.
Mr. Cami received his Relativity Certified Administrator (“RCA”) certification in 2010 and Advanced SQL Certificate from DePaul University in 2009. Trained as a digital forensic analyst as well as a database administrator, Mr. Cami received his AccessData Certified (“ACE”) certification in 2008, and his EnCase Certified Examiner (“EnCE”) certification in 2010. He regularly participates in an assortment of training programs to update and maintain his legal technology skills.
Ms. Jones joined KrolLDiscovery in 2006 as a Senior Account Executive. In that role, she was responsible for generating new business from AMLAW100 law firms and Fortune 500 corporations. During her tenure with KrolLDiscovery, Ms. Jones has consistently created opportunities, developed new clients and increased the company’s client base by delivering tailored solutions and service excellence to clients. She is a top producing sales representative, focusing specifically on corporate accounts.
In 2014, she was promoted to her current role of Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Sales. In this new and expanded role, she continues to manage her accounts and prospect new ones but is now also responsible for all marketing, advertising and branding activities related to KrolLDiscovery and their sister companies, AlphaLit, Flash Data Solutions, RenewData, Turnstone Solutions, Credence and CopySecure.
Ms. Jones holds a Marketing Management degree from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech. She is also a Relativity Certified Sales Professional.
Mr. Gardner leads the company’s technology and consulting efforts in the information governance, compliance, litigation readiness, and records management domains.
Mr. Gardner’s experience in the litigation support, eDiscovery and technology fields includes positions with some of America’s most recognizable law firms, including Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, and most recently Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. His career at Paul, Weiss spanned nearly a decade, beginning as an analyst and ultimately managing the Discovery Services group. As the Chief Operating Officer of Turnstone Solutions, an eDiscovery services company, Mr. Gardner built a lean startup into a respected regional player serving Fortune 10 banking and AmLaw 100 law firms.
Mr. Gardner holds an M.A. in International Political Economy and Development and a B.A. in English Literature. He is also a Relativity Certified Administrator (“RCA”). He is a frequent speaker on Information Governance and eDiscovery and has collaborated on a number of eDiscovery articles for trade publications.
